Working remotely from Mexico City, Mexico is something that I’ve done 3 or 4 times since I started working from home. The people are kind and helpful (even though my Spanish is dismal), the food is some of the best on the planet, and the parks are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
If you get the chance to work from Mexico City, or just to visit, here are some places to go.
Where I Worked
My favorite co-working space in CDMX was at Garage CoWork. It’s in the Polanco neighborhood, which some call the Beverly Hills of Mexico City. But the people are super laid back, warm and welcoming.
Where I Got Lost
My one of my favorite places to get lost was the Frida Kahlo Museum. At the time of my trip, her wardrobe was being shown as an exhibition.
I also got lost in Chapultepec Park. It’s one of the of the largest parks in the Western Hemisphere. It’s also home to a beautiful castle (the one from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet), lots of museums, and a zoo.
Where are you going next?
